with love for someone you love !
After
a few quilts and little purses I made for a special little girl,
I wanted to make something different for her -
these little pockets.
My intention was to make just one, but after I finished it, I
could not help myself and I made other two.
I
had so much fun making them, they are so cute that I had to share
them with you !
The pockets are made using origami ( the traditional Japanese
art of paper folding ).
I adapted this technique to fabrics and instead of a single
piece of paper, we are using two (or three) pieces of fabric.

After the
fabrics are prepared,
it takes less than half an hour to complete a pocket.
They need
just a few stitches…
I sewn all my pockets by machine but they can also be
stitched by hand.
